Nottingham contractor wins luxury holiday in Marley Eternit competition

A Nottinghamshire-based roofing contractor is celebrating after being awarded £2,000 of holiday vouchers as part of Marley Eternit’s fibre cement slates merchant competition.

The winner, Geoff Marshall, is a regular visitor to the Newark branch of Rinus Roofing Supplies - one of 30 merchants that took part in the promotion. He plans to use the vouchers for a luxury holiday in Mauritius with his wife later this year:

“I couldn’t believe it when I found out I was the winner. Apart from winning a push bike a few years ago, I never have any luck when it comes to competitions. Thank you Marley Eternit!

“I’ve actually just placed another order of fibre cement slates for a current project which requires a particular finish – they were a perfect fit.”

As well as the chance to win a holiday, contractors also benefitted from special price promotions on the product range. The first 50 contractors per branch also won a mobile power pack, to keep them connected while on the road.

Contractors could also pick up a copy of Marley Eternit’s fixing guide for fibre cement slates which shows how fixing can be easy, even on the trickiest of roofing designs. An online version is available for download at www.marleyeternit.co.uk.

Katie Prestidge, Trade Marketing Manager at Marley Eternit commented: “It’s great to see Geoff is so delighted with his prize. We hope he enjoys his holiday.”
