New systems at Knauf Marmorit allow even faster response

As part of its continuing expansion programme, Knauf Marmorit UK has just spent several months upgrading its computer systems to make sales order processing and deliveries even faster, and also to be able to respond more quickly to specifier enquiries.

The new Sage 200 system installed company-wide coupled with a CRM (customer relationship management) system, brings comprehensive benefits all round.  Amongst these is faster order processing, immediate access to stock availability and automated credit control.  The CRM function provides a full project tracking system and updating by a member of staff either inside the company or remotely.

Commenting on the newly introduced system, Dave Potter, Knauf Marmorit’s commercial manager said, “This up to the minute computer system will benefit our customers enormously and at the same time helps us comply with the ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 international management systems ensuring both efficiency and the limitation of the company’s environmental impact.” 

The new system also allows integration with the company’s Bristol based accountants for production of periodic accounts requirements and VAT.

Knauf Marmorit UK manufactures external insulation with its Knauf Warm Wall systems and also offers renders, base coats, finishes, render only and scratch render for a variety of building types.  The company also offers framed system solutions, façade paints, primers and insulation products.  Knauf Warm Wall insulation systems provide a simple and easy way to thermally upgrade buildings and this together with a range of render finishes and colours allows aesthetics to be achieved at the same time.
