New Safedoors Retail Offer From Permadoor

Builders’ merchants can make the most of rising demand for composite doors with the new Safedoors retail offer, available exclusively from the original composite door manufacturer, Permadoor.

Sales of composite doors have risen dramatically over recent years and demand is set to increase further, as growing numbers of trade professionals and homeowners opt for composite entrance doors, thanks to their high thermal efficiency, minimal maintenance requirements and replica timber appearance.

Safedoors offers an extensive range of high quality GRP composite doors with a choice of glass, hardware and finishes. The doors are fully compliant with the latest Building Regulations and are proven to be thermally efficient, with some of the lowest U-values in the marketplace.

The Safedoors offer is supported by the £multi-million Epwin Group and a new Safedoors trade sales team is in place, led by Adrian Wyatt who has 17 years experience working for composite door specialist Permadoor.

Commenting on the launch of Safedoors, Adrian Wyatt, Trade Sales Manager, said: “Permadoor has been supplying composite doors to the commercial sector for 22 years and has manufactured over one million doors in that time. The new Safedoors offer brings this experience together with a carefully selected product range to builders’ merchants dealing with private housing projects.

“Sales of composite doors are forecast to steadily increase over the next few years, reaching 664,000 in 2014. To make the most of these lucrative opportunities, it’s essential that merchants partner with a composite door supplier, which can provide a consistent and reliable ‘made to order’ service.

“Thanks to the backing of the Epwin Group, merchants can have absolute confidence in our service, the quality of our doors and the 10 year guarantee which comes with every door from the date of installation.”

The Safedoors range offers 12 designs available in red, blue, green, white and black finishes, plus antique oak and rosewood woodgrain effects. All doors come complete with a full multipoint locking system and a choice of suited hardware including a knocker, letterplate, numerals and spyhole in gold, chrome, black, white or satin chrome finishes.

Each door has a fully reinforced 70mm PVC-U outer frame, high insulation foam core, strong through-coloured GRP facings and slim, low line aluminium thresholds with twin seals.

Part of the Epwin Group, an independent British business with substantial manufacturing and processing plants in the UK, Permadoor has a full suite of accreditations including ISO 9001(quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and OHAS 18001 for health and safety.
