New Market Specific Facades Literature from Alumasc

Façade specialists Alumasc have launched a new suite of literature showcasing their full range of External Wall Insulation (EWI) and Render Systems.

Designed to make life easier for architects, specifiers and contractors, the new literature comprises separate brochures for the Refurbishment and New Build markets, offering a comprehensive insight into the design options and technical benefits presented by Alumasc’s BBA approved Facade systems within both sectors.

Together with Alumasc’s new Facades website, the literature forms part on an on-going programme of development intended to provide an invaluable resource for the building industry and further demonstrates Alumasc’s continued commitment to providing unrivalled technical support to its construction colleagues.

The Refurbishment brochure comprises full details on Alumasc’s well known Swisslab and Swisspan EWI systems and choice of render finishes. These systems are designed to create thermally efficient buildings, with transformed exterior façades. They offer effective, environmentally beneficial solutions primarily to the social housing market, providing EWI solutions for traditional solid wall and non-traditional house constructions.

The specification of externally insulated walls for new construction is becoming increasingly prevalent in creating high performance, commercially viable façade systems. Alumasc’s New Build brochure therefore illustrates the Swistherm and NHBC approved Swisrail EWI systems which address the requirements of both solid wall and framed construction projects.

Technical content in both brochures is supported by a number of features to assist in the specification process. The comprehensive project galleries show the products in situ on a diverse range of projects whilst the Product Selector, which can be used in conjunction with the Facades website, details each system, including colour and textures swatches, allowing users to choose tailored solutions.

System build-up, application details and installation techniques are all clearly illustrated with a full summary of all compatible system components making it easier than ever to pull together the complete facades package for any application.
