New Manual to be released in May 2007 by Cavity Trays - the ultimate guide

Cavity Trays of Yeovil has again taken the lead in identifying incorrect construction on site and showing how it can result in damp penetration problems.

Volume 18 is the latest Cavity Trays manual - being released on 14th May 2007 Within the updated manual on pages 4 and 5 are the results to date of the ongoing UK Penetrating Damp Defect Analysis Survey that has now been operating since January 2002. The latest results cover a period of sixty-two months.

A Company spokesman explained: ‘Whilst our ongoing survey provides us with insight into the problematic areas of construction, most importantly it highlights error trends and where direction is required. The updated manual goes on to list and illustrate good practice construction with a wide range of preformed dampcourses, flashings and trays. Many products have enhanced specifications and options.
