To make life easier for customers across the spectrum of drylining installers and plasterers, Knauf Drywall has produced a handy guide to its products and systems. The free 40-page booklet details the full range of Knauf Drywall plasterboards, together with information on related products such as metal studs and materials for fixing and finishing. It also provides a useful overview of product applications, making it simple to complete a professional job that meets regulations and user requirements. The Drywall Product Guide is available from trade counter dispensers at Knauf Drywall stockists, or by calling the Literature Line 08700 613 700.

“The guide is a comprehensive reference for drywall customers, whether they are working on a small alteration or refurbishment job or a major building project,” says Knauf Drywall Marketing Communications Manager, Bob Stark. “It highlights our entire range and gives tips on the specification and use of all our key products.”

Each of Knauf Drywall’s standard and high performance plasterboards is listed, together with information on its range of thermal laminates and the market leading tile backer, Aquapanel. Data on each product includes board thicknesses, weights and edge details and this is accompanied by notes on key product features, typical applications and special points relating to each product.

The Drywall Product Guide also has sections on steel stud and track (for partitioning) as well as bonding and metal profiles (for wall lining and ceilings). It lists all the Knauf Drywall plasters for finishing, patching and joint filling, together with the range of joining tapes and primers and ancillary products, and a full list of screws and anchors recommended for use with Knauf Drywall plasterboards and metal sections. It covers everything the customer needs for a perfect drywall installation.

By selecting the appropriate system and using the correct Knauf plasterboards, a wide range of design requirements can be achieved. The guide also includes recommended solutions for typical requirements such as how to achieve a 40db single layer partition or how to ensure two hour fire resistance. It has clear diagrams of Knauf Drywall’s optimised internal partition systems and Robust Detail approved separating walls.

Knauf Drywall manufactures a full range of plasters, plasterboards, insulating laminates, drywall accessories, metal sections and steel building systems, for domestic and commercial applications, from factories at Sittingbourne in Kent and Immingham on Humberside.
