Of sturdy cast iron and steel construction, the new inset model retains the classic styling of the Westcott range but adds choice where an existing suitable fireplace is to be re-used. The design detail around the top and sides of the stove adds interest to the classic cast iron front, while allowing the stove’s convector box design to distribute the heated air into the room.
Suitable for burning wood and most approved manufactures smokeless fuels, the inset stove offers a 4.3kW heat output, burning at up to 80.9 percent efficiency, and has been designed to be used without a liner in an appropriate good-condition chimney.
The stove is independently tested and approved to European Standard EN13240, in line with Dimplex’s policy of designing products to meet the most stringent of safety regulations which includes meeting the independently tested BEAB standards for its award-winning range of electric fires.
The dimensions of the Westcott Inset are 598mm high by 492mm wide, and the inset required is 190mm.
