The new Selborne is the latest design to join Dimplex’s range of solid fuel stoves. The ‘clean burn’ design is DEFRA-approved for woodburning in UK smoke control areas, with a high efficiency of up to 82 percent.

Offering a tested heat output of 5.0kW with wood and 4.8kW with Pureheat smokeless fuel, the new stove features a slim profile, making it suitable for less-deep hearths without sacrificing a wide view of the flames, and the robust steel casing with cast top and door is highlighted with brushed steel handles for a contemporary touch in a classic look.

The Selborne offers flexible installation with either top or rear flue using a standard five-inch flue pipe. An effective airwash system aids combustion as well as helping to keep the door glass clean. The appliance is supplied with a heat resistant mitten.

Manufactured to European standard EN13240 and with the backing of a leading name in heating, the Selborne is a high quality multi-fuel appliance, independently tested to guarantee safety, build quality and efficiency levels.

This is in line with Dimplex’s policy of designing products to meet the most stringent of safety regulations, which includes meeting the independently tested BEAB standards with its award winning range of electric fires.

The Selborne’s sturdy construction gives a net weight of 84kg, and with dimensions of 630mm H by 610mm W by 310mm D, the stove brings a reassuringly traditional feel to any room. The Selborne is designed to retail at around £849.
