New ChromaWhite & RGB Modules

Building on the popularity of the award winning ChromaWhite Tungsten+ LED modules (3000K, warming to 2400K when dimmed with 400K boost at full intensity), PhotonStar have now launched the ChomaWhite Tungsten Module. The new Tunsten module features the same active feedback technology to provide excellent colour quality and stability, but does not have the 4000K boost at full intensity. This new version has been developed in response to feedback from leading specifiers at the recent Light+Building expo in Frankfurt. Specifiers wanted a true replacement for halogen without the additional feature for use predominantly in high end homes and hospitality.

ChromaWhite Tungsten+ (ARC show visitors choice award)
• 2400K @ 5% intensity, 3000K @ 90% intensity, 4000K @ >90% intensity
• Ra >90 (high R9)
• Single Channel Control – DMX / DALI / 1-10
• Available in 1000lm CLE module (Compact Light Engine Footprint) and selected PhotonStar Luminaires
• Active feedback loops for stability of colour, luminous intensity & CRI (LINK)

RGB modules
To compliment the modules featuring advanced ChromaWhite technology, an RGB version (non chromawhite) of the CLE module will be available from July. The new RGB version utilises the CLE’s excellent colour mixing properties.

If paired with the PhotonStar dedicated controller (optional), the ThermaLoc feature can also be used to ensure that the module never operates outside of the optimum operating temperatures.

RGB & Tungsten in luminaires
The first PhotonStar luminaires to feature the new Tungsten and RGB versions will be Cryos , CeilingStar, Venturi and Vespertine.
