Nationwide coverage for Delta CPD Seminars
Two CPD seminars have been created by Delta Membrane Systems to help architects and specifiers better understand the workings of cavity drain membranes and water vapour management.
The first of these seminars is entitled ‘Waterproofing – BS 8102:1990’ which aims to explore waterproofing and in particular the use of cavity drain and air gap membranes in a variety of different situations from domestic basements to Heritage and historical buildings.
Cavity drain membranes are focused upon, along with case studies of typical problems and how they can be solved, and achieving environmental grades.
Water and water vapour management as defined in BS 8102:1990 is the subject of the second CPD seminar from Delta Membrane Systems. This seminar looks at the use of cavity drainage membranes in new-build and renovation projects, as well as groundwater pressure reduction and ground gas management in new-build situations.
Collection and evacuation of penetrating groundwater is also highlighted, and case studies are used to show typical problems and their resolutions.
Both seminars last about 1hr. each, and can are offered at any premises throughout the country.
