MARLEY ETERNIT RAISES ITS PROFILE AT BUILDING CENTRE’S ECO ZONE

Marley Eternit is one of only 20 companies to showcase its sustainable building products at an exhibit at London’s prestigious Building Centre.

The manufacturer’s EcoLogic roof tile, which absorbs Nitrogen Oxide produced by traffic exhausts, takes centre stage on the company’s display in the Eco Zone. The tile, which improves air quality by absorbing the Nitrogen Oxides, is manufactured using about 50% recycled materials, making it one of the most sustainable roofing products in the market today.

A feature of the permanent product gallery, the Eco Zone is dedicated to sustainable building products and materials for Modern Methods of design and Construction, and showcases contemporary, innovative and eco-friendly products to a wide audience of industry specifiers.

Charlotte Hughes, campaign manager, said: “Marley Eternit has a proven track record of commitment to sustainability, recycling and the minimisation of the environmental impact of its products. The Eco Zone provides an ideal platform for us to showcase our products, in particular the EcoLogic roof tile, along with other environmental initiatives including our new environmental website www.marleyeternit.co.uk/environment.”
