Makita fills jigsaw range gap with new JV0600K model

·        23mm stroke, up to 3,100spm
·        Orbital and straight cut options
·        New tool-less blade changing

The new Makita JV0600K mains powered jigsaw adds a high-performance 650w machine to the current range which now has 450w, 650w and 720w models.

This new Makita jigsaw has a 23mm length of blade stroke which will run from 500 strokes per minute up to 3,100spm. To achieve best sawing performance the stroke action can be selected from three orbital motions and a straight vertical cutting action. The blade stroke is supported by a hardened steel running wheel for consistent accuracy. The rigid aluminium baseplate contributes strongly to the accuracy of cutting. Choosing the right blade from the comprehensive Makita accessory range will achieve best performance for selected materials.

The JV0600K weighs just 2.4kg and is a very compact design that enhances operational manoeuvrability. This powerful new jigsaw will cut up to 90mm of timber, 10mm steel and 20mm aluminium. A new blade-clamp system enables the blades to be easily changed quickly without the use of tools. The new Makita JV0600K jigsaw is available in either 110v or 240v modes.
