Legrand has seen a selection of its Synergy wiring devices installed in the new Ramada Encore Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham.

Located close to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham International Airport, Birmingham City Centre and the M42, the 166-bedroom hotel has been built in a property that was previously used as offices by the NEC and was designed by leading architect, SMC Corstorphine & Wright.

Amongst the Legrand products installed was a selection of Synergy wiring devices, which included grid, and white and decorative finishes. In addition, Legrand Swifts SW steel wire cable tray, distribution trunking and ladder were also specified.

David Ross of main contractor Ross (Electrical Services) Ltd, said: “Both the consultant, Hoare Lea & Partners, and I had been shown samples of Synergy before this project and were keen to include it from the outset because of the depth style of the range and the flexibility of its grid solutions.”

Designed to accommodate all of Legrand’s modular functions, Synergy grid is available in sizes from 1 to 24 gang. It is offered in all the different Synergy forms and can incorporate a full range of switches, VDI TV and audio functions, electronic dimmers and time delay switches.

Mike Jones, a Legrand area sales manager, said: “When it comes to modern, style-conscious commercial projects such as the Ramada Encore, wiring device solutions need to be flexible enough to meet a wide variety of demands and still retain the style that led to them being specified in the first place. Synergy grid delivers this much sought after combination of total flexibility and cutting-edge style.”

With a 19 per cent share of the world wiring device market, virtually one in every five switches in the world today is a Legrand product. To find out more visit www.legrand.co.uk or call 0845 605 4333.
