James Latham has added to its already impressive range of work surfaces for the kitchen sector with the arrival of Synergii by Wilsonart.
Now, for the first time, Lathams can offer kitchen specialists a premium HPL (High Pressure Laminate) option in addition to its already highly popular range of work surface materials which include HI-MACS® and Silica® solid surface - for which it is now the exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland – plus its premium quality, solid-wood laminated panel, Texwood.
Through 10 strategically based depots, Lathams has nationwide coverage across the UK and Ireland and is able to offer these products for prompt collection or delivery within 24-72 hours, depending on location.
Synergii delivers 4-5 times the wear resistance of a standard laminate, creating a surface that looks better for longer, making it perfect for the kitchen environment. In addition the stunning combination of gloss and texture means there’s no compromising style for performance. The Synergii range, which includes 24-decors in 38mm thickness and six in 28mm, is also offered as 4.1m option.
Boasting visually seamless lines, HI-MACS® is non-porous, durable and easy to fabricate. Supplied in thicknesses of 12mm, 9mm and 6mm, it’s available in 113 colours and with many new additions to the range for 2012, is versatile and adaptable. HI-MACS® is also extremely sanitary, holding a specialist hygiene certificate which makes it particularly suited for use in both kitchen and bathroom environments.
In addition, the HI-MACS® portfolio now includes 22 designs of sinks and 13 vanity basins – available in over 60 colours and the full colour palette is available for download in CAD software-compatible format from www.himacsuk.co.uk. There is also an ecological solid surface option, Eden features up to 40 per cent certified pre-consumer recycled material and offers thirteen warm, natural shades.
For the more budget conscious who are looking for a solid surface option, Silica is constructed from 6mm HI-MACS® sheets bonded to 30mm MR MDF with a 1mm HPL balancer to the underside. The 6mm surface allows the integration of drainer grooves, hob-rods and sinks.
