Leading value-added panel and timber distributor James Latham is now offering Holz in Form (HIF) Finesse, a revolution in conventional timber veneer panelling which gives dimension, depth and texture to an otherwise flat surface.
With a mixture of contemporary designs and patterns inspired by the flowing, dynamic shapes of moving water ‘HIF-Finesse’ offers eleven embossed MDF panels which are supplied with their own unique textured finish. Faces range from Italian Alpi engineered-veneer in colours including Ebony, Walnut and Light Oak, through to Oak and Walnut realwood-veneers and a paintable foil finish. Panels are held in stock in the UK.
Manufactured in Germany, HIF-Finesse profiles are created by applying 100,000 tonnes of pressure per square metre in a specialist press with exclusively designed plates. This process creates the unique appearance of HIF-Finesse which would have an otherwise flat surface.
HIF-Finesse is also available in curved panels, with a matching range of edging.
Steve Frommont, James Latham’s Product Champion for Veneer Panels commented, “Designers are constantly striving to create unique textures that transform the cold, smooth shape and structure of interior surfaces and HIF-Finesse achieves this. This product offers interior designers and architects in the shop fitting and commercial sectors an option which they have not had before, allowing them to capitalise on new trends and create a distinctive and elegant appearance which delivers real impact.”
HIF Finesse is available in profiles and thicknesses from 1050 x 2450 x 18/21mm, 635 x 2450 x 21mm, 1270 x 3135 x 21mm, depending on the pattern.
