Kingspan Insulated Panels has developed a RIBA approved CPD Seminar to look at optimum renewable energy sources for non-domestic new build and refurbishment projects.
The
CPD explores why the use of renewable energy is likely to be an essential component of achieving compliance, from the next round of changes in 2013 onwards, towards achieving the goal of ‘Zero Carbon’ for all new buildings. It also looks at how the financial benefits of renewable systems available through feed-in tariffs can incentivise and attract renewable investors, making solar PV an increasingly cost effective and cash positive energy providing solution.
PV is the only viable renewable power generator that can be used in the urban environment to move us to Low (net Zero) Carbon Buildings. The PowerPanel range from
Kingspan Insulated Panels offers single-source integrated roof, wall, façade and PV provision, and can deliver a realistic solution to the need for a viable, sustainable energy source, which complies fully with the need to both ‘Insulate and Generate’ by 2013.
All
Kingspan roof and wall PowerPanel PV modules are MCS certified and installed by MCS approved contractors and fully integrate with
Kingspan roof and wall products for design flexibility. A comprehensive project analysis/viability, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and handover service is also available, together with the 25 year Kingspan Total Guarantee on all combined Insulated Panel and PV systems.
Kingspan Insulated Panels provide a range of detailed product information, including a configured PV solution tailored to individual projects, a breakdown of UK FIT tariff levels for PV panels and a downloadable brochure of the PowerPanel range.
