Keylite Polar Voted Best Brand New Product

Launched just this month, Keylite Polar has been voted as ‘Best Brand New Product’ at the Housebuilder Product Awards 2017

Keylite Polar is a brand new white PVC roof window range combining innovative design with the latest in material technology and precision manufacturing. Its name was chosen to reflect the efficiency with which the Polar bear dominates its environment.

Polar raises the bar on the performance set by Keylite’s award winning timber windows. It establishes a new standard in maintenance-free, energy efficient roof windows, with options available for every project.

The new range shares the same easy installation and thermal benefits as the other Keylite ranges, with flick-fit brackets, easy sash feature and integrated thermal collar included as standard.

However, what sets Polar apart is that it provides benefits not previously experienced with timber based frames. Because PVC is inherently moisture resistant, it enables the roof window to be maintenance free, making it equally suitable for use in the bedroom or higher moisture rooms such as kitchens or bathrooms.

Keylite Managing Director John Duffin commented, “The majority of UK house builders have long since converted to the benefits of PVC windows and doors however until now they have not been offered a PVC roof window with this range of benefits. We have invested 21,840 hours of research and development and produced over 100 prototypes perfecting the performance of the new Polar roof window. Naturally, we are delighted to have been awarded this accolade which acknowledges Polar’s innovative features.”

As winner of a Housebuilder Product Award, Keylite Polar automatically becomes a finalist in the product of the year category at the Housebuilder Awards 2017, competing for the top prize with the other category winners. The Housebuilder Awards 2017 will be presented at a prestigious black tie event, attended by more than 500 senior house building professionals. This will take place on Thursday 2nd November at the InterContinental London – the o2.
