Kee Safety, a leading safety specialist, provides builders and contractors in Berkshire with a specialist advice trade counter which stocks a range of its fittings and components, readily available for last minute orders and collection.
The trade counter has been established as a central base for regional customers to seek advice from Kee Safety representatives, as well as collect and place orders for their projects. Contractors are encouraged to bring along their design plans and the Kee Safety team will offer recommendations to ensure the correct products are specified for the project. Aluminium and steel tubing can be cut and bent on-site for those customers requiring a bespoke system.
“We identified that local customers required a place where they could have quick access to our products and be able to sit down and discuss project specific information” explains Vernon Barry, UK General Manager at Kee Safety. “Not only is it a great service for our customers, but it is an opportunity for us to build relationships with them and familiarise ourselves with their work and requirements. A lot of projects demand last minute product orders, and the trade counter accommodates this perfectly.”
Open from 8am until 3.30pm Monday to Friday, the counter stocks a large range of Kee Klamp® galvanised fittings in a selection of sizes. These fittings are used to build guardrails, safety barriers and all types of tubular steel construction. Other products available from the trade counter include Kee Lite® aluminium fittings, Kee Access® components used to create safety handrailing that complies with requirements of the UK Equality Act, and the well-known roof edge protection system, KeeGuard®. Other protection and safety equipment including suitable clothing, high-visibility jackets, helmets and boots are also available from the counter.
