Jefferson’s gets a new look

A popular Bristol city centre deli bar has been given a complete make-over to create a stylish bright new look in time for the New Year.

Jeffersons patisserie and sandwich bar on Bridewell Street was transformed in just three weeks with all three floors undergoing a face lift.

Bristol-based professional flooring contractors Rudge Brothers and James (RBJ) carried out the work on behalf of owner Oliver Box.

“The sandwich bar needed a major overhaul to the client-facing areas as well as the food preparation and kitchen areas,” said RBJ’s Jim Heal.

“The ground and first floors the walls, floors and ceilings in the client areas were all given a make-over.

“New partitioned walls built with feature walls were painted in bright colours.

RBJ laid new Altro safety flooring in the kitchen and serving areas and timber skirting and timber effect gallery wood plank vinyl throughout the ground, first and second floors.”

Meanwhile an unused store room was opened up for the first time to create a relaxed seating area that’s proved a big hit with Jefferson’s regulars.

Jefferson’s Oliver Box said “The transformation in such little time was amazing. Our customers love the new look.”
