The UK’s biggest independent timber and panel products distributor, James Latham, has just confirmed its sponsorship of the Healthcare Project of the Year category at the Structural Timber Awards 2016.
The event, designed to celebrate best practice in the timber construction world, will take place on 19th October 2016 at NEC, Birmingham.
The Healthcare Project of the Year will celebrate those projects that have used timber technology to create a new facility, upgrade or extension in a seamless way, on-time and on-budget working in a sensitive, inclusive and collaborative fashion.
Patient, staff and visitor experience is at the heart of successful healthcare projects, and the winner must prove that it has met the healthcare provider and/or the NHS Trust’s expectations in providing a sustainable, energy efficient and cost-effective contemporary building.
Chris Sutton, Chairman and Managing Director of Lathams Limited said, “We are delighted to be sponsoring this year’s Structural Timber Awards as it is such a good fit with our own company ethos, celebrating the UK’s most cutting-edge projects, inspirational people and ground-breaking design.
“It’s the perfect platform for demonstrating the breadth of innovation within this sector and I am really looking forward to seeing the talented teams and individuals get rewarded for all their hard work.”
