Three lucky individuals have won two tickets each to enjoy a day of Powerboating in the Itho UK Shower Heat Recovery Unit competition. Fiona Colamarino of Devon County Council, Exeter, Donna Goddard of Anderson Goddard Ltd, Manchester, and Philip Howell of The Code Store, Liverpool, entered the competition to celebrate the launch of the SHRU60 and can all now look forward to a day of thrills at a location of their choice.
The innovative SHRU60 – Shower Heat Recovery Unit - is the latest introduction to the UK market to reduce energy consumption without compromising user comfort.
Providing energy savings of approximately 60%, the Shower Heat Recovery Unit ensures greater user comfort, together with lower energy consumption. The SHRU60 takes heat from discharged waste shower water to heat the incoming supply of cold mains water to the shower inlet. This preheating of the mains supply reduces the amount of energy required for each shower.
Currently available in a copper version, the SHRU60 fits easily into new and existing homes and requires no regular maintenance or user interface. This product adds to the complement of products from Itho UK Ltd which meet or exceed the most stringent requirements of the Code for Sustainable Homes, offering house builders complete energy efficient whole dwelling climate solutions.
