'Iron-clad': Kayflow launches cast-iron effect rainwater system

Kayflow, the rainwater system specialist, has designed and launched a new rainwater range successfully emulating the appearance of traditional cast-iron rainwater but at far lower cost and without the associated maintenance.

Part of a full rainwater, underground and soil range, Kayflow’s complete cast iron effect gutter is available in half-round and ogee, with a choice of downpipes in round and square.

It also comes with a cast iron effect hopper, and specially designed pipe straps, pipe connectors and shoe fixings, plus a 10 year guarantee across the full system and components.

Greg Wilde, Kayflow, said: “This new system is long lasting and lightweight.   It replicates the appearance of traditional cast iron but because it is not heavy it is far easier to install. Paint-free, it also requires little or no maintenance, which is a strong end-user proposition.”

The cast-iron effect range is part of a comprehensive rainwater offer from Kayflow. This also includes standard rainwater systems which are available in round, square, deepflow and ogee in white, black, brown, grey and caramel.  Compatible with many other systems they also come with a 10 year guarantee and are Kitemarked.

Kayflow also offers a high gloss finish, easy fit soil system which is again compatible with the majority of competitor systems. The durable and impact resistant underground range comes in both 110mm and 160mm diameters and is fully tested to BSEN 140-1:1998 PVC-U underground drainage systems.
