Heatrae Sadia has boosted its industry-leading range of Megaflo Eco unvented water heating cylinders with the launch of the new Megaflo Eco SystemReady, designed specifically for installation with a system boiler.
Predominantly aimed at the new build market, the Megaflo Eco SystemReady cylinder is a pre-plumbed, pre-wired unit – similar to the Megaflo Eco SystemFit model – which offers quicker, higher-quality installations thanks to the inclusion of factory fitted components to make it ‘plug and play’ for installers.
Unlike the Megaflo Eco SystemFit cylinder, the SystemReady unit does not include a circulating pump and controls, as these are already incorporated in a system boiler’s design. With these duplicate components removed from the SystemReady package, wastage is eliminated and the cylinder is much more competitively priced for developers opting for system boiler installations. Extra savings can also be achieved as there are fewer margins for error due to the pre-plumbed and pre-wired features, so costly call backs can be avoided.
Available in 125, 145, 170, 210, 250 and 300 litre options and manufactured from high grade Duplex stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, SystemReady unvented cylinders come with a lifetime guarantee. Controllers are not supplied as standard, but three compatible control units are available to order as accessories, ensuring that a developer can tailor any SystemReady cylinder to their individual specification.
Megaflo Eco SystemReady delivers fuel savings without compromising on superior performance. Innovative energy saving features include 60mm thick polyurethane insulation for exceptional heat retention, and insulated casing for the temperature and pressure relief valves to minimise heat loss.
Manufactured in the UK, Megaflo Eco SystemReady cylinders also incorporate a number of installer-friendly attributes. In addition to the prefabricated electrical and plumbing connections, the cylinder features a patented internal air gap and floating baffle system, eliminating the need for an external expansion vessel and allowing for simplified installations. The cylinder range is also lightweight and has a detachable lifting handle to further reduce an installer’s time spent on site.
Jon Cockburn, head of marketing at Heatrae Sadia, said: “From speaking to our customers, we discovered that developers really liked our SystemFit cylinder, because of its time-saving, pre-fabricated connections. But the SystemFit was being specified with system boilers, so the duplicate pump and controls didn’t make good economic sense.
“That’s when we came up with the SystemReady range, specifically for system boiler installations. It has all the innovative features and ease of installation of the SystemFit, only streamlined for system boilers.”
Available now, Megaflo Eco SystemReady is included in Heatrae Sadia’s £150 Mega Cash offer. Under the incentive scheme, which has been extended until September 30 2013, installers purchasing Megaflo Eco, Megaflo Eco SystemFit, Megaflo Eco SystemReady, Megaflo Eco Solar or Megaflo Commercial models will receive £150 cash back upon sending off a completed claim form and VAT invoice.
