Hanson Formpave, a leading UK manufacturer of specialist concrete products has recently appointed Nick Riddle as its new national sales manager.  With over 20 years experience in the concrete product and landscaping sector, Nick has achieved success as a Hanson Formpave regional sales manager and most recently as a business manager for the company’s merchant customers.

With increased demand for its products and service, namely the acclaimed permeable paving SUDS solution, AquaflowTM and the innovative permeable paving and Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) system, ThermaPaveTM, Hanson Formpave is having to expand from its regional structure; in a move that will see an increased presence nationwide, ensuring a consistent level of service and delivery no matter the location. 

Commenting on the challenges that he will face in his new role Nick said, “Having worked within Hanson Formpave for six years now I am incredibly excited and proud to be given the opportunity to lead such an experienced commercial team; with many of my colleagues offering years of specialist industry knowledge. With our new product and service offerings we will be able to meet the demands of rapidly emerging markets; our technical design capabilities enable us to tailor a bespoke package for our customers, wherever they are in the UK.”

Commenting on the new appointment, Hanson Formpave managing director Brian Garratt said: “Since the launch of Aquaflow in 1995 and, subsequently ThermaPave, we have experienced unprecedented interest and sales not just in the UK but also globally through our licensee network – most recently in Cape Town ahead of the FIFA World cup.
