Hansgrohe, the international bathroom specialist, announces its collaboration with the John Lewis Partnership as part of their new venture into fitted bathrooms in the UK, planned for roll-out from August 2012.
Hansgrohe is already a supplier to John Lewis for bathroom accessories and shower handsets and will now also provide key brassware collections as part of the new bathroom offering. The decision by Hansgrohe to take advantage of this opportunity is in line with global business objectives to develop the brand, products and presence in all markets.
Hansgrohe, UK Marketing Manager, Geoff Wickett explains, "We are supportive of our trade partners, new and old, all of whom have their own distinct customer profiles and needs; from the national merchants, through to architects, designers and developers, along with our tiered retail partnerships".
"The John Lewis Partnership has earned a strong reputation for its fitted kitchen service over the years, and it is therefore natural that we should agree to partner them as they develop their bathroom offering. We believe that the addition of John Lewis to the bathroom industry can only serve to enhance the service levels currently being offered to the consumer. Furthermore, we believe that this will have a positive knock on effect throughout the KBB industry as a whole, and will help convince consumers that top quality and excellent service should always be considered when making important purchases in the future. "
The first bathroom showroom will be within the John Lewis Milton Keynes branch and will sit alongside kitchens as part of a complete store refurbishment. There are plans for all department stores to offer bathrooms as floor space becomes available as part of a UK roll-out programme.
