Hansgrohe highlight from ISH
A new archetype of exposed thermostat with Ecostat Select

Esher, March 2011. On the 1,400 SQM stand at ISH in the historic Festhalle, Hansgrohe enjoyed another successful show with thousands of visitors experiencing their latest bathroom innovations. Pleasurable showering was high on the agenda as always, with a new archetype of exposed thermostat making a low key but highly praised debut onto the international shower stage.

With the development of Ecostat Select, Hansgrohe has re-invented exposed thermostats. At first glance their function is hidden as these extraordinary thermostatic shower and bath mixers look like large shelves. Although the Ecostat Select is not much bigger than standard bar-style thermostats, it can be flush-mounted onto the wall thus offering an elegant solution for concealing connections. The product is characterised by impeccable design and high quality materials, with elegant chrome surfaces joining to form a rectangle that is considerate to users with its rounded edges. It also enters the market at an attractive price point with an RRP (excl. VAT) of less than £300.00.

The wide top is made from high quality safety glass through which large, easy-to-understand symbols for controlling water flow and temperature can be clearly viewed. The ergonomically shaped handles allow for easy operation even with soapy hands and the entire housing is air insulated to guarantee a comfortable surface temperature.

Available with mirrored glass top or white glass to co-ordinate with other chrome and white fixtures in the Hansgrohe portfolio, Ecostat Select is both aesthetically pleasing and practical.  It is available as a single product for shower only or with an integrated spout as a bath and shower mixer, or combined with a Hansgrohe shower set or shower pipe, including the newly launched Raindance Select Showerpipe 360.  The integrated EcoStop function means the water flow can be set up to a lock of approximately ten litres per minute, with the option to increase flow at the touch of a button. Selecting temperature and water volume is convenient, safe and intuitive to ensure the pleasurable shower experience for which Hansgrohe is renowned.
