The Export Industry Trophy was presented by GIMA (Garden Industry Manufacturers’ Association) at their annual award ceremony held at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, London.
Export Manager Jon Murray collected the award from comedian Fred MacAulay and Amanda Sizer Barrett MBE, Director General of award sponsors Gardenex.

On winning, Mr Murray said: "It's very rewarding when our export achievements are recognised by the industry and we must thank GIMA for organising the event and Gardenex for sponsoring the award. It makes all the hard work involved with these major overseas projects worthwhile and inspires us for future opportunities."
Northamptonshire based Haddonstone
won the trophy for continued success in exporting standard and custom-made products around the world, including the Gulf region, Pacific Rim, Europe and the USA, where Haddonstone
has a subsidiary – Haddonstone
(USA) Ltd. Recent notable export projects include The Pearl in Qatar where Haddonstone
supplied a number of large landscape ornaments and more than half a mile of balustrading.
As part of the company’s export marketing strategy, Haddonstone
regularly exhibits overseas at major shows such as the Big 5 in Dubai, Maison&Objet in Paris and ASLA in the USA.
