Keylite are pleased to announce that our Futuretherm Roof Window has been shortlisted as a finalist for ‘Commercial Innovation of the Year’ at the Construction News Awards 2015. The Construction News Awards have become the most prestigious and coveted in the sector so we are naturally delighted that we have impressed the rigorous judging panel to make the final.
We have always been regarded as a serial innovator in the roof windows industry. Our flick fit brackets and sash hinge finger spring innovations (both of which changed and greatly simplified the installation process for installers), were ground-breaking developments that have been widely regarded as significant developments within the industry.
Following on from these, our reputation for innovation has continued unabated with our new Futuretherm Roof Window range, which offers many new features including the patented expanding integrated thermal collar, resolving as it does the age old problem of thermal bridging, which has existed since the roof window was first invented in the 1960s.
Group Sales Director Adrian Forbes said of the achievement:
“Since 2001, we have gone from being a small manufacturer to being one of the fastest growing roof window manufacturers in Europe. Our steady yet highly ambitious innovation plans have helped us to grow our business year on year and, as our innovative products continue to meet the needs of the industry, so too demand for our products grows. We are, therefore, thrilled to be recognised for our commitment to innovation in the industry.”
The Construction News will take place on 30th June 2015 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. Winners will be announced live on the night and we wish all finalists the best of luck.
