While many businesses are "battening down the hatches," "pulling in their horns" and generally cutting back on spending during the current economic downturn, one company believes that now is the time to "paint the front door red" and "make a song and dance" about their products.

Dröm UK, the Surrey-based specialist in the design, supply and installation of quality Sauna rooms, Steam rooms, Steam showers and Wet rooms, has completely refurbished its showroom in Byfleet and recently opened its doors to architects, end users, press and local celebrities at a champagne "launch" function.

"We absolutely believe that this is a good time for us to benefit from our strength and exclusivity at the quality end of the market" said MD Kicki Carlsson-Boyd. "We are finding that interest in health and wellbeing is riding high, and recent press articles positively backing the benefits of sauna and steam baths is very encouraging. We are very enthusiastic in what we do and we think that this is the best time to “lighten the burden” by investing in our “feel good” products.

In fact, when planning either a new-build or refurbishment project, it is almost "de rigeur" to incorporate a sauna and/or steam room/shower, and at the top end of the market, a complete wet leisure experience.

“We fully intend for Dröm UK to be the prime mover in the sauna and steam market, whether for home, spa or corporate facilities” ended Kicki.
