FINE EDGE – BORDER FINISH FOR ‘FLOATING’ ACOUSTIC CEILINGS

Leader in acoustic ceilings, Ecophon, has introduced a free-hanging edge system to complement its suspended Focus systems. Edge™ has been designed to provide a finished appearance to acoustic ceilings where wall-to-wall installation is not possible or inappropriate.

The character profile has contemporary detailing to produce a ceiling with a soft and balanced appearance, thanks to a slope on the vertical profile. This enables outer edges to be angled upwards or downwards depending on the aesthetic properties of the room.

Floating ceilings can provide design features that integrate with any room or building scheme and Edge™ provides the perfect finish to accentuate the design and create focus in the space. The section and corner module is less than ten centimetres high, allowing great flexibility regardless of format.

Joint brackets for sections are integrated into the profile for a seamless appearance, while the push-fittings make installation quick and easy. The main sections are made from aluminium for strength and rigidity, whilst the corners are cast in Zinc. All parts are powder coated for long life, with a matt finish to prevent glare.
