Eco Bathrooms adds 700mm width option to best selling Modular range

It was at KBB2010 that Eco Bathrooms - a division of JJO Plc - took the covers off its ‘Eco Modular’ range. Already a successful supplier of fitted bathroom furniture, Eco Bathrooms launched its more contemporary Modular furniture in response to dealer demand and parent JJO’s desire to extend its bathroom brand’s market penetration. Consisting of eight furniture designs in six colour-ways that ranged from high gloss to heavy texture plus a choice of thirteen units, the response from the trade was extremely positive and all models entered production immediately after the exhibition.

Now (May 2011) Eco Bathrooms has extended the appeal of its Modular furniture ranges by adding 700mm wide single and double drawer and basin unit options as an alternative to the existing 900mm width. The popular ‘Volpi’ basin, characterised by its rectangular shape and shallow bowl depth, will also be offered in 700mm width to partner the new cabinets, although these can also be coupled with other Eco Bathrooms basins that boast more modest dimensions or circular shapes, depending on the preferences of the end-user.

Marketing Director Richard Proctor says “Modular bathroom furniture lends itself to wider widths that emphasise its more contemporary styling, however, the reality of British bathrooms is that they remain, in many cases, areas of restricted space and so we’ve added the 700mm dimension to enable more homeowners and bathroom designers to buy into the look. With a re-sized Volpi basin plus four other basin options, a choice of handles, finishes and taps, the Eco Modular range is now more flexible than ever.”
