DIMPLEX SOLAR SYSTEM GOES UP IN THE WORLD

Dimplex is ‘going up in the world’ as the number one choice for low carbon heating and hot water with the addition of integrated roof kits to its solar thermal hot water system.

As a leading player in the provision of low carbon electric heating solutions, including heat pumps and easy-to-integrate all electric systems, the new Dimplex solar kits have been designed to allow optimum flexibility and speed of installation.

Roof integrated solar is the popular choice in many new build installations and the unique design of the new Dimplex integrated roof mounting kit makes installation quick and easy by providing the weatherproofing integrity of the roof structure without the need for the collector to be installed at the same time. This means that the collector itself can be installed once the roof covering has been applied, making scheduling of the build programme much easier by allowing roofing and plumbing trades to work autonomously.

Available for either slate or tile roof coverings, the Dimplex kits use the same connection fittings as standard roof fixing kits and allow for two, four and six square metre installations, across single, two and three panels.

Dimplex has also extended its range of solar accessories, including a flush and fill pump cart, heat transfer test kit, plus insulated stainless steel flexible hoses in lengths of 10m and 15m, with further accessories of additional solar controllers and roof flashing kits due to be added later this year.

To make specification simple and installation easy, the Dimplex solar thermal hot water system is available in a choice of 15 pre-packaged kits, with each of the system’s components carefully selected for its quality and suitability for the UK’s climate. It’s a complete off-the-shelf solar hot water package, including 2, 4 or 6m2 flat-plate collector kits, heat transfer system, a full range of installation accessories and a choice of purpose-designed solar hot water cylinders with high efficiency coils, fully optimised for solar water heating.
