Dimplex is adding extra sophistication to electric heating this season with sleek new-look radiant electronic panel heaters that have intelligent controls to operate independently or as part of a whole house heating system.

Ideal for both domestic and commercial applications, the slimline RPXN radiant panel heaters have a compact, stylish casing with a distinctive new curved grille and soft white finish.

The heater construction and specially designed elements produce a high proportion of radiant heat providing immediate, direct warmth for the user and higher levels of comfort than conventional convector heaters. Radiant heating also reduces heat stratification and energy wastage.

Each of the four models has a sensitive electronic thermostat, minimising temperature drift to give the double bonus of better comfort with a more economical use of energy.

Added security and safety of operation is provided with a lockable controls cover, and the RPXN models are IPX4 rated so they are splashproof for use in bathrooms and wet areas. All models are 440mm high, with loadings starting from 0.75kW up to 2.0kW and come with a detachable wall mounting frame for quick wall fixing.

Like the other electronic panel heaters in the Dimplex range, the RPXN can also operate as part of a complete electric heating system using the Dimplex two zone controller which provides full programming and control from a single point.

The Dimplex RX programmer provides control over heaters in two zones, with a customisable programme per day, per zone, switching the heater between comfort and setback modes at hourly intervals. The system can be installed either by linking a pilot control wire between the controller and heaters or alternatively make use of the existing mains wiring by Mains Bourne Signalling control, making the system suitable for either new build or existing installations.
