The newly-developed iPhone/iPad App for Cytech Europe’s COMFORT INTELLIGENT HOME SYSTEM has been shortlisted by a panel of experts for installation on the BRE Innovation Park (Building Research Establishment), Watford and launch at Ecobuild in March, 2012.
Comfort’s App will be displayed and demonstrated on 4 and 5th October, 2011 at INSITE11 Rethink Refurbishment event at BRE where the shortlist of six will be shown. Visitors will be invited to vote for their favourite from the shortlist on show to choose the winning App.
The three sponsors of this challenge are The Construction Products Association, BRE and the Modern Built Environment Knowledge Transfer Network (MBEKTN). Their brief to entrants was for an App that brings together all aspects of home automation control together “as a single control system with a user-friendly interface…………easy to use, affordable and integrate all the systems in the home”.
Cytech recently introduced this latest development that can be downloaded from iTunes under “Comfort Control”. “We are delighted that our iPhone App has been recognised by the expert panel for its capacity to easily control our COMFORT system of home automation”, L Y Chiu, Director of Cytech Europe.
