Bhs sold on Egger decors

Egger (UK) Ltd’s ‘Milano Cherry’ (H1665) and ‘Platinum White’ (W980) finishes have been specified for a multi-store refurbishment programme being undertaken by leading British high street retailer Bhs.

More than 6,000 sheets of cherry and white decors have been supplied by Egger’s decorative panel distributors’ Montague L Meyer and WT Eden to Bhs’ network of national shopfitters in EURODEKOR® MDF, EURODEKOR® Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC) and EUROFORM® Laminate. This network includes Plaswood Volume Joinery and the Mice Group.

Egger has worked in association with the whole supply chain to meet Bhs’ requirements including the involvement of equipment manufacturers Plaswood Volume Joinery who supplied the majority of the equipment for this programme.

The stylish and contemporary decors were an integral part of plans to refurbish homeware departments at 50 Bhs stores across the UK, including new build sites in Rotherham and Ballymena in Northern Ireland.

The decorative MFC and MDF panels were chosen to enhance the appearance of wall panel sections and retail display unit end plinths.

Allison Park, Egger’s Specification Product Manager, said: “This is another success for our Kaleidoscope programme and reflects our ability to provide the retail sector with quality solutions which add value to the final installation.“Our decors have enabled Bhs to showcase their products in an eye-catching, contemporary retailing environment.”
