“Back to Eden”

The Oslo Range of windows were chosen by the Eden Project in conjunction with Grimshaws Architects and McAlpine Joint Venture for the new ERC, Education Resource Centre, building.

The company's green credentials were an essential requirement whilst the flexibility of the Norwegian production and design allowed special-shaped windows to be built to suit the unusual shape of the building. The roof-line is curved both on plan and elevation, and the windows are inclined outwards from bottom to top.

The windows are made from laminated timber for stability and are coloured differently inside and out.
