With more than £1 billion of public and private investment, Wolverhampton City has undergone a stunning transformation over the last two years.

The objective of this huge undertaking by Wolverhampton City Council and Fitzgerald’s was to enhance the appearance of the worn-out streets, support the growing economy in Wolverhampton and encourage new investment in the city.

Tobermore has helped develop a contemporary new look for the city with the installation of fabulous Fusion block paving across 13 streets. Fusion was specified for the scheme due to the quality, availability, cost-effectiveness and the flexibility of production and supply shown by Tobermore. The beautiful Fusion colour combination of Graphite, Silver and Rose has achieved a soft, yet striking landscape, and reflects the aim of a bright new future for Wolverhampton City perfectly.

Fusion is an extremely popular product choice for public realm projects as it Is available in a range of modular sizes and 12 beautiful colours, offering amazing versatility and limitless landscape design options.

In addition to the landscaping overhaul at Wolverhampton, the large scale regeneration plan has involved the investment of £286 million in the city's secondary schools, £200 million in two new city centre convenience stores, a £45 million redevelopment programme for Wolverhampton Wanderers' Molineux Stadium and a £22.6 million investment in a new bus station at The Interchange as part of a strategic new transport hub, a new city centre gateway and space for commercial development.
