On Sunday 20th June 2010, 6 stalwart volunteers from the Burgess Architectural Products team took on the might of 38 other teams in a desperate battle for supremacy that is the Wasperton to Stratford Annual Charity Raft Race!
In an epic 3 hour contest, akin to 'Pirates of the Caribbean', the team paddled their homemade raft a full seven miles to finish in an admirable 24th place, in the process raising money for a number of charities including the Warwickshire Air Ambulance.
Several blisters were reported but all participants returned scurvy free and are already planning their 2011 campaign.
