Telford College of Arts and Technology is a further educational college in Shropshire that has recently been extended, including the addition of an Automotive Engineering Centre and the College’s Willow Tree Centre. The College’s recent works were designed by Pinnegar Hayward Design and carried out by Pave Aways.
Tobermore have supplied a vast range of paving products that have been used to create a striking new landscape at the educational facility. Tobermore’s sparkling Sienna Duo Silver and Graphite block paving has been used to create a unique colour-block design. Sienna Duo is manufactured with a granite aggregate surface, similar to the appearance of natural granite, which has created a contemporary new look for Telford College.
Tobermore’s Mayfair Step Flags in Silver, designed with a black delineation strip as a safety aid for those who are partially sighted, are also installed at the college. Mayfair Step Flags are the perfect step flag choice to be installed alongside Sienna Duo, as Mayfair products feature a similar granite aggregate surface layer.
In keeping with safety precautions, Tobermore’s Tactile Flags with both a Blister finish in Red and a Hazard Warning finish in Buff have been incorporated into the landscape design to assist staff, students, or visitors who are visually impaired.
