Stiebel Eltron has announced a range of innovative new products across its hot water, heating and ventilation divisions following a successful showing at ISH 2019.

The DCE series of instantaneous water heaters will expand Stiebel Eltron’s offering in the domestic hot water market, a sector that has been bolstered by the growth of city-centre living in the UK.

Incorporating three new product lines, the DCE-X Premium, DCE-S Plus, and the DCE-C Trend, the series will combine high performance with a space-saving modern design ideally suited for high-density residential developments.

This release has been supplemented by the announcement of a new environmentally friendly refrigerant for heat pumps.

In 2020, Stiebel Eltron will begin producing heat pumps that implement R454C refrigerant, a sustainable option that improves coefficients of performance and enables higher temperatures.

R454C is ten times less damaging to the environment when released into the atmosphere than the current refrigerants available on the market.

This benefit is accompanied by the fact that it is flame-retardant, greatly enhancing the safety credentials of all heat pump systems that utilise it.

Mark McManus, managing director of Stiebel Eltron UK said: “Being at the forefront of innovation in the industry is something that is incredibly important to us.

“Continuing to perfect our product lines and find ways to ensure higher performance with improved energy savings is a key part of our business. These product launches continue our commitment to this idea.

“They also help to further the UK’s progress in creating a sustainable all-electric future. As generation methods become more environmentally friendly and energy efficiency rises higher on the public agenda, electric products will lead the way.

“ISH 2019 has been a tremendous success for the company, it’s a testament to the growing popularity of our product line that 40 percent of the visitors to the stand this year were international. This is a hugely encouraging and demonstrates that there’s an appetite across the world for Stiebel Eltron products.

“We’re looking forward to ISH 2020 and bringing these innovative systems to the market this year.”
