ROCA PROVES TO BE THE PERFECT SOLUTION FOR EXCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT IN KENT

5 Nov 2018
Case study

The Firs in Challock, Kent is a new development of high-end detached houses, which have style and exclusivity at their core. To ensure this look and feel was replicated within the bathroom space, the developers selected a range of elegant and contemporary products from leading bathroom
manufacturer, Roca.

The development is the first project for husband and wife duo, Hayley and Mick Leavey. They are building five luxurious five-bed homes, of which two have already been completed. When it came to the bathrooms in each property, Hayley and Mick wanted to create a modern, clean and stylish finish. So, they spoke to their plumbing installer and Mark Yeates at a local retailer, Ashford Bathroom Centre, who recommended using Roca products in order to create the high spec finish that they wanted to achieve.

Mark comments, “Hayley and Mick had a specific design and style in mind, and the plumber and I thought Roca would fit perfectly. As a Roca Inspirational dealer, we have access to a fantastic range of Roca products, so we let Hayley and Mick select exactly what they wanted. Once they had chosen the products, we were able to create a CAD drawing to show them exactly what the bathroom would look like. The customer service and advice we receive from Roca is always great meaning we were able to fulfil Hayley and Mick’s order quickly and efficiently.”

The Leavey’s selected the Inspira furniture units in the City Oak and Dark Glass Mirror finish along with the Nexo WC and Esmai brassware. The Inspira collection is the ideal option for a modern bathroom, it is a single range but allows customers to choose and combine different shapes and styles to stamp their own individual tastes and preferences on their home in a unique way. This is exactly what Mick and Hayley managed to achieve by selecting the mirrored finish.

“I wanted the bathrooms to be bright, clean and attractive and I really think we have achieved this,” says Hayley. “Everyone who has viewed the houses absolutely loves the finish that has been created.

They have especially commented on the mirrored freestanding units and they are definitely my favourite. I am over the moon with the quality and choice of bathroom furniture that we used.

“The service we received throughout the project from everyone involved was great,” continues Hayley. “Mark was there every step of the way to guide us through the process – from the selection of products right through to installation, he really helped our designs become reality.”

The Inspira furniture units come in 600, 800 and 1000mm dimensions and a choice of finishes – Glossy White, City Oak and City Oak/Dark Glass Mirror. The freestanding units feature two fully extracting drawers with no cut-out (required for the basin trap), whilst also featuring a compartmentalised interior and a tactile textured dark wood finish. A durable soft-close system is also available.

Designed by Antonio Bullo, the beautiful Esmai taps add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the bathroom design. The Nexo sanitaryware collection is one of Roca’s most popular ranges and seamlessly integrates into the bathroom at The Firs. The extensive range has a modern and contemporary design at an affordable price. Nexo is available in a range of sizes to suit all spaces, it truly ticks all the boxes.
