Rehau achieves a rating for its Heritage vertical slider

REHAU has announced that its market leading REHAU Heritage vertical slider has been simulated and successfully tested to achieve an ‘A’ Window Energy Rating (WER) using standard components and without the need for thermal inserts.

This, says REHAU, enables its fabricators and installers to meet the requirements of all those retail customers who are looking for an A rated supplier of vertical sliders, but who don’t want to compromise on authentic looking styling.

The REHAU Heritage window has long been able to achieve a B or C rating in any sash combination, and can satisfy Part L of the Building Regulations with a U-Value of less than 1.6.

Clare Higgins, the Product Manager for REHAU Heritage, said:  “The REHAU Heritage system is firmly established as the market leader with the most authentic looking features and detailing and now also the highest thermal rating.

“We are continually developing and improving the system so that it remains the first choice for both fabricators and specifiers.  Beyond the new A rating, we have also developed an enhanced weather package for coastal locations and exposed positions, and we have a range of foiled finishes available including Rosewood, Golden Oak, Cream and White Ash.”

This latest accreditation means that all of REHAU’s leading systems – S706, REHAU Edge, REHAU Tritec and REHAU Heritage are now available with a complete range of WERs from A to C to meet the demands of any type of project.
