Qualitair, part of the Eaton-Williams Group (www.eaton-williams.com) is helping the pub trade to reduce its carbon emissions by offering ECA approved cellar coolers.

With a listing on the Energy Technology Products List, end users can have confidence in purchasing systems that meet the government’s criteria for managing climate change and reducing carbon emissions.

Both the ICC cellar coolers and ICUS condensing unit have been approved and offer the same unrivalled performance with the added benefit of increased energy efficiency.

“By offering ECA approved units we are helping the pub trade in the battle to reduce their emissions whilst saving them money by qualifying for tax relief under the Enhanced capital Allowance (ECA) scheme, which can be a deciding factor when replacing kit,” explains Qualitair’s Product Manager Ron Pamplin.

The Energy Technology Products Listing confirms the units are energy efficient and more environmentally friendly and eligible for the ECA scheme whereby businesses claim 100% first-year capital allowance on investments in energy-saving equipment, against the taxable profits of the period of investment.

Manufactured in the UK, Qualitair’s cellar coolers combine flexible temperature control with the added value of increased energy savings and quieter operation. The range is popular with the leading retailers, major brewers and microbreweries.

There are four ECA approved models offering operating temperatures between 5-23°C and are ideal for general keg, real ale storage areas and bottle cooling.

Qualitair’s cellar coolers are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel unit enabling them to be cleaned easily to address hygiene issues. They are also robustly built to withstand knocks and scrapes that can occur within the confines of a heavily used cellar.
