The owners: The owners of the property wanted to build their dream house making it as energy efficient as possible to futureproof them against ever-rising energy costs.
Previous heating system: New build
Technology: Stiebel Eltron air-source heat pump WPL25 with a plant room containing a combined 200 litre hydro tower hot water cylinder and 75 litre buffer tank. A green under floor heating system on the ground floor and the first floor was also installed. Set at a low flow temperature of 35°C to ensure a low running cost and maximize RHI payments.
