Join Hamworthy Heating on a trip down memory lane

21 May 2015
News

Hamworthy Heating recently celebrated the centenary of their founding company, Hamworthy Engineering. From their humble beginnings on Poole Quay in 1914 the group quickly built a world class reputation for high quality products.  Hamworthy Heating, a former division of the Hamworthy Engineering group, specialises in commercial heating and hot water and is marking this milestone by inviting customers to send in pictures of their old Hamworthy boilers.

Keith Thompson, Sales and Marketing Director, Hamworthy Heating, commented,

“To follow on from our centenary celebrations last year we’ve been feeling nostalgic, so are on a quest to find the oldest installed and working Hamworthy Heating boiler. Our boilers have been used in all types of commercial buildings across the UK and we’re really fascinated to see where the oldest boiler is.”

“In the office we’ve been enjoying a trip down memory lane by looking at some of our old pictures. As we introduced modular boilers to the UK in the 1960s we have some great shots. But we’d love to get some more photos from customers with an old Hamworthy boiler to add to the family album.”

If you think you have the oldest Hamworthy Heating boiler in your plant room or you’re working on a project with one installed then you could be in with a chance of winning an iPad mini. To enter tweet a picture with the name of the site and boiler serial number to @heatingatwork or email marketing@hamworthy-heating.com.
