Large enough to house five jumbo jets, the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) offers around 52,000 sq m of broadcast studio space with 8,000 sq m for offices. The IBC is a key element of the 24-hour media complex, which features a temporary food village, 4,000 seat restaurant and a High Street with banks, shops and a post office.
With only temporary planning permission the structure has been designed to be as flexible as possible. In Legacy mode the complex will provide over 80,000 sq m of space for businesses.
