Case study

CityLife is the requalification project for the historic urban pole of Milan Fair. The intervention will affect an area of 366.000sqm, making this urban project one of the biggest in Europe. Internationally known architects such as Zaha Hadid, Arata Isozaki and Daniel Libeskind will lead this project.

Sustainability, quality of life and services: these keywords characterize Citylife. Living features of great value, innovation, and efficiency characterize the residential units designed by Zaha Hadid, both from an environmental and a safety point of view.

The prestigious context of Hadid Residences will be composed by the Penthouse One-11, an elegant bi-level attic of more than 300sqm with an amazing view on the city and on the park. It will be realized with the cooperation of the best interior and home design brands of Made in Italy. This apartment, made complete by some scenographic furniture pieces, is a genuine “Sensory apartment”. It has been studied to inspire the five senses and it expresses an innovative way of designing a home which aims to each person’s well being.

Gessi takes part to this project supplying total looks – bathroom fittings, accessories, sanitary ware – for the four bathrooms of the Penthouse. Some of its most fascinating designs have been selected: Equilibrio, Cono, Rettangolo, Tremillimetri, Ispa and Private Wellness program, composed by multifunction showerheads with chromo therapy.

Having already been selected for several Zaha Hadid’s projects all over the world, Gessi is delighted with the fact that its design will furnish one of the buildings which will be symbol of the new Milan and which will renovate the attraction of European glamour city.
