Garador increases size range on GaraRoll roller doors

Leading UK garage door manufacturer, Garador, will be increasing the range of sizes available on their popular GaraRoll roller garage doors. From 1st April 2020, they will be offering GaraRoll roller garage doors in sizes up to 6000mm wide.

With a growing trend towards constructing wider garages to accommodate larger more modern vehicles, this is a welcome announcement. A larger garage door of 6000mm wide will more comfortably allow the parking of two modern cars, including typically wider designs such as sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs).

Garador’s Marketing Manager, Paul Eddleston comments “We have seen a marked increase in the number of wider roller doors, over 5000mm wide, which we are supplying to customers. So offering an even larger range of sizes was an obvious progression.”

By increasing the width of the garage and the door that is installed, homeowners are also opening up possibilities for utilising the space in their garage for an even wider range of things, such as home offices, playrooms, general storage and woodworking.

Garador are maintaining their commitments to safety and security, even with larger widths. The GaraRoll has a built-in operator with force limitation which recognises when there is an obstruction in the door curtain’s downward path. They are electrically operated as standard, using 868 MHz bi-directional radio signals for even greater security, and come in a choice of 15 colours, so an enhanced size range will undoubtedly be well received by customers.
