The construction plan of the vertical and sloped curtains for the Feltrinelli Foundation included a detailed study on the guides for fixing the curtains to the windows and on the arrangement of the electrical system for controlling the blinds.
284 roller blinds were installed on the SOUTHERN façade of the complex. These included 192 ZIP blinds 2.14 m wide and 3.49 m high and 128 inclined ZIP blinds that required special technical development using the Traction kit. The system’s hooking and installation methods were designed to optimise future maintenance and installation times, very difficult because of the high altitude.
