Coombe Pines, Kingston-Upon-Thames

Case study

The impressive Coombe Pines private residence in Kingston-upon-Thames is the culmination of 2 years intensive work and personal design by Lifestyle Projects. The finished project resulted in Coombe Pines winning the NHBC Quality Award for 2016.

Every single aspect of this stunning home was meticulously planned out, with multiple sub-contractors specified for specialist individual components. Even the trees in the garden were imported from oversees to achieve the desired appearance.

Internally, each room was designed specifically with the buyers of the house in mind. For example, there are two study rooms, one is light and airy with lots of natural light from the Mumford & Wood windows, while the other has a more masculine, darker feel to it, with lots of exotic wood panelling on the walls.

Sash windows and French doors from Mumford & Wood were specified and installed throughout the property. The natural look of timber was the most appropriate option for a home of this grandeur and is an important component that helps to achieve the finished look that both the homeowners and Lifestyle Projects were hoping to achieve.

The high spec finish of Coombe Pines adds to Lifestyle Projects’ already diverse portfolio, including previous projects where Mumford & Wood were also specified. You can read more about one of these HERE.

Sam, the site manager for the Coombe Pines Estate concludes “It’s such an amazing property, a real beauty on the Coombe estate. There are so many great properties on the estate and Coombe Pines definitely is one of the stand outs. To be involved in something that people view as ‘something special’ is amazing.”
